Messaging terms

Effective 7 September 2026

aJETic operates an automated assistant that answers calls, texts and web chats on behalf of the businesses that use it. When you text one of those businesses, you are texting them — this page explains how those messages work.

Who is messaging you

Messages come from the business you contacted, sent through aJETic, which provides their assistant. The business's name appears in the message. aJETic does not send marketing messages of its own to your number.

How you opt in

You start the conversation. Consent is obtained in one of two ways, and no automated message is sent without it:

  • You text the business first. The assistant replies once to ask you to confirm — “Reply YES and our assistant can help with your request”— and sends nothing further unless you reply YES.
  • You call the business and the call is missed. The assistant texts the number you called from to acknowledge the call, and asks for the same confirmation before continuing.

Consent is per business. Agreeing to messages from one business you contacted does not opt you in to messages from any other.

What you will receive

Replies to what you asked about: answers to your questions, appointment times, quotes and ranges, confirmations, and follow-ups about the job you enquired about. Message frequency varies with the conversation — you will typically receive a message only in response to one of yours, and rarely more than a few in a day.

How to stop

Reply STOP at any time. You will receive one confirmation and then no further messages from that business. Reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for help and a phone number for a person.

Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

Carriers supported include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

That you are texting software

The assistant is automated. It identifies itself as such, and you can reach a person at any time by replying HELP or calling the business directly.

Your information

Your phone number and the content of your messages are stored so the business can see and continue the conversation. They are not sold, and they are not shared with other businesses using aJETic. See the privacy policy for what is kept and for how long.
